RoadBed™ measures approximately 128 cm wide, 62.5 cm deep and 56 cm high, with a 40 cm front drop. It is designed for many cars, sedans, mid-size SUVs and small trucks. Measure the rear-seat width and footwell depth before ordering.
How much weight can the base support?
The supplier lists a maximum supported load of 30 kg when the extender is fully installed with all straps secured. It is a comfort and space solution, not a crash-tested restraint. Use a suitable vehicle pet restraint where required.
Is it waterproof?
The quilted polyester surface is designed to resist everyday spills, muddy paws and damp fur. Wipe spills promptly and avoid leaving pooled liquid on seams or zips.
Can I still use a passenger seat?
The split-panel design may allow flexible configurations in some vehicles, but fit varies. Always keep the product fully supported and do not use any configuration that interferes with seat belts, airbags or safe driving.
